BORE COMPLIANCE

Bore compliance inspections are regulatory requirements under the Hawkes Bay Regional Council. (This regulation is likely to be adopted throughout New Zealand). HWWS are certified 'Blue Tick' technicians and an accredited company who can issue the required compliance certification of bore security. HWWS has the ability and specialist engineers to design, fabricate and rectify issues that deem your bore non-compliant. HWWS ensures that regulatory requirements are met to the satisfaction of our client and the relative controlling body. HWWS aim is to protect the aquifers by providing secure headworks infrastructure.

CAMERA INSPECTION & REPORTS

HWWS provides high-quality video and imagery of the internal structure of your bore. For every camera inspection conducted HWWS will provide a detailed report on findings and solutions for any issues we may find. Clients request camera inspections for: unusual bore behaviour, confirmation of bore structure, natural disaster damage reports, and much more.

Provides side viewing and down viewing video images
The side camera can rotate in 360° continuously in either direction
The field view is 86° at 480 TV lines of horizontal resolution
Has illumination capable of inspecting boreholes of 50mm to 406mm in diameter
The maximum inspection depth is 360m
Unit is able to save footage externally to a USB drive in full colour
Includes side focus, iris (shutter control), and light intensities
The maximum operating temperature is 80° c

PUMP REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

HWWS supply a skilled team and job-specific equipment to lift and refit submersible, surface and line-driven pumps. We also stock a range of pumps and generators for emergency and temporary water supply if your pump fails or is undergoing inspection and maintenance.

PUMP / FLOW / RESOURCE CONSENT TESTING

HWWS offer a full and comprehensive Pump and Flow testing service. Technicians are equipped with state of the art certified testing and monitoring equipment and are fully conversant with testing procedures. Working with Hydro-geotechnical Engineers and Consultants on a regular basis has allowed HWWS to gain invaluable insight into the planning, preparation and operations, which allows us to provide compliant and reliable statistics for compliance purposes. Full documented reports are provided electronically, as well as the backup written copies of all tests that are conducted.

BORE DECOMMISSION

Non-compliant wells that require decommissioning are a specialist operation undertaken by HWWS on a regular basis. A wide range of equipment and experienced technicians allows HWWS to decommission the well providing the client with the required Regulatory Bore Seal Certificate, which is also copied to the regulatory local body as evidence.

BORE REDEVELOPMENT

Bore redevelopment may be required subsequent to a camera inspection, decline in well yield, or water quality issues. HWWS offers a full well service solution. Following a well analysis and flow testing, the primary technique for redeveloping the bore will be discussed and undertaken with client consent. We pride ourselves in site management and are aware of possible environmental consequences associated with the discharge of large volumes of water. A Site Specific Safety Plan is discussed and produced to mitigate risk. On acceptance, the plan is put into force prior to any work being carried out and monitored throughout operations.

HWWS provides a call-out service engaging with clients, councils and consultants to contribute toward a successful outcome on all projects. Site visits conducted with the client provide the opportunity for an accurate estimate of likely costs associated with the job.
